BMW's Cape Town shoot for the
M235i Driftmob
sounds like a fairly fraught affair. Two days, backstreet garages welding diffs, no spare cars... And yet as always seems the way, the finished production is a slick and, dare we say it, very enjoyable video.
'Please note that all these driving scenes are real' it says in the description. We don't doubt that having seen the film being made and yet there are sections of the vid that look sped up and a bit artificial. See if you can spot some for yourself. Strange.
But that shouldn't detract from some unbelievable displays of oversteer, particularly notable given the proximity of other cars. They've even managed to squeeze in a love interest in 90 seconds with a very glamorous police officer. But we're only interested in the driving, obviously.
