The frosty weather didn't put you off! Over 250 cars had arrived at Goodwood less than an hour after the gates opened with a steady flow of PHers filling up the venue to enjoy the usual Sunday Service delights of breakfast, hot drinks and superb cars.
It was a great turnout despite the cold with around 500 cars making the journey. Once again, the guys at Goodwood did us proud and we managed to fill the start/ finish straight and the paddocks with an eclectic mix of metal that only PH could achieve. Thank you to the staff at Goodwood and of course all of you in attendance (the biscuits were much appreciated too!).
There were a committed few turning up with their roofs down and oddly enough didn't seem to be frozen in position (we doff our virtual caps to you!) and we did even see a couple of people walking around in shorts!
The powerslide and off-roading experiences were very busy too with people taking the opportunity to chuck some new BMWs around (once the taps on the low grip area had been defrosted). It felt great taking a 1,900-mile X5 through a quarry then up and down steep muddy slopes and not having to clean it yourself afterwards!
Goodwood brings to an end the 2014 Sunday Service calendar. It's been a busy year and we're continuing this in 2015 with both new venues and some old favourites. The first will be announced early next year so make sure you keep an eye on the homepage.
Thank you for your support throughout the year and we look forward to welcoming you again in 2015.
