Spring has officially sprung, the Sunday Service calendar is back in full swing and it finally seems like the winter has been endured once more. Means there are even more cars to talk about too...
Since last week the F1 season has kicked off, Lotus has announced two additions to its range and PH has driven the fastest Range Rover ever. Catch up on it all here!
The clocks haven't even gone forward yet and already sports car are high up the agenda. The very impressive turbocharged
Zenos E10 S
has been reviewed and Lotus boss Jean-Marc Gales has announced some details of the
2-Eleven replacement
. File under spooky coincidences...
In fact it's been a busy week for Lotus. The Elise is 20 years old this year, an occasion commemorated by the new Anniversary Edition. Rather a shame that it's a fair bit heavier, more powerful and expensive than the original though. However, those concerns were alleviated somewhat by the announcement of an Exige S Cup Racer on Friday. Lighter than standard and only a tad more expensive, it's surely the perfect alternative for those who missed out on the Cayman GT4.
But arguably the most significant British new car news of this week is the new Jaguar XF. There aren't many details on the car yet; expect a typically overwrought JLR launch itinerary soon!
You may not like it, but it remains very good
The cars driven on PH this week could hardly be more different. As well as the aforementioned Zenos, there's a junior hot hatch in the
Vauxhall Adam Grand Slam
and 550hp, supercharged V8 SUVs are represented by the
Range Rover Sport SVR
. At the Zenos's dry weight, three still weigh over 100kg less than an SVR...
On the motorsport side of things, BMW is marking the 40th anniversary of its first US victory in great style, Honda has a new BTCC car and PH2 has interviewed one of GP racing's engineering legends. Furthermore, while the F1 season may not have begun with a sparkling encounter, PH enjoyed what action there was with a unique 'wake-up' event at Mercedes-Benz World.
Must be up there with the prettiest Ferraris ever
PHTV
having been up and running for a month, we're keener than ever to receive PHer content.

Turbos are an inescapable part of the fast car landscape nowadays. See just this week that Adam, the McLaren Sports Series and the new generation of touring cars like the Civic. So why, asks Dan, can't new turbos behave more like old turbos? Similar, in fact, to his WRX STI long-termer. That's still a contented relationship it would seem.
And the rest? There's a ludicrously fast Audi RS in Carpool, a pair of new £100K Garages (Saturday and Tuesday), a beautiful Ferrari F355 grabbed from the classifieds and yet another Pagani Zonda. More next week!
