What can you say about this weekend's two-wheeled action apart from that the Brits absolutely smashed it! Kicking off with the MotoGP in America. Well, the result was never really in doubt and once Marc Marquez hit the front he was always going to clear off.
Another battle
between Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso provided the entertainment and a big cheer for Bradley Smith who managed to beat Cal Crutchlow and finish sixth. But it was in Moto2 and Moto3 that the Brits excelled.
Ducati celebrates first WSB win for Panigale
Danny Kent started the weekend in style with a totally dominant performance in Moto3, John McPhee finished sixth and then Sam Lowes (lead pic) overcame his disappointment from Qatar to take Moto2 honours. Both Sam and Danny have a real chance of taking their respective championships this year and it has to bode well for a great season of racing and an awesome Silverstone round.
Over in World Superbikes at Aragon, the Brits once again dominated the racing and filled the podium in both races. Jonathan Rea took the first race win but the biggest cheer of the weekend went to Chaz Davies, who took the Ducati Panigale's first WSB race victory. What a weekend of racing for those waving a Union flag, what a shame PH2 was on a plane heading to the launch of the new Yamaha YZF-R3 and missed most of the racing - hence the abbreviated review! Watch this space for a review of the R3 very soon.
