Dark and early on an October morning, it was uncertain whether the good weather promised for Silverstone would materialise. Fortunately, by the time the first of the Sunday Service faithful arrived at 0830h, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. We've been very lucky with Sunday Service weather recently; let's see how long it lasts...
Those that had booked onto the first track session were already signed on by this time, on their third coffee of the morning and were making last minute preparations to their cars, eager to get out on track.
Over the next few hours the stream of cars kept flowing in through the gates with the orchestra of engines reverberating around the circuit. As always we saw plenty of Aston Martins, a large contingent of Audi RS4s, and what's a Sunday Service without a glut of M3s?
There was a Type R presence and a nice CR-X VTEC making an appearance too. It was great to see so many of you and put faces to names!
Out on the track each session went without major incident apart from a minor oil spill. One member was witnessed limping to the sanctuary of the main roads with a rather unpleasant sound coming from his car and was last sighted five hours later at the services awaiting recovery. It is still unknown as to whether the two are related; fingers crossed from all of us at PH that it's nothing major!
It was great to see so many in attendance on the day and once again the Haribo were greatly received. If you would like to read more and see pictures from the day then visit the thread on the forum. See you at the next one!
