We couldn't have asked for a better day on which to hold our first ever Sunday service at Revo. Arriving early at their headquarters hidden away in a Daventry industrial estate, we were greeted by a very welcome barbeque breakfast. The first summery weekend of the year meant people were slow to arrive but as the morning progressed the car park started to fill with eye catching cars, the vibrancy of which was inversely proportional to the white legs also on display, mainly from the PH team.
There was a large Japanese contingent in attendance which included a pristine Toyota Supra, a couple of menacing GT-Rs and of course the usual appearance of Subarus. But we also had a Defender 110, a well used Caterham Seven, a BMW M2 and a freshly restored Mk1 Golf GTI.
The first demonstration of the day was a Stage Two remap of Revo's own Audi S7. With all eyes fixed on the monitor, the result it displayed was staggering: from 420hp to a mighty 562hp, a 142hp increase.
Talking to the members of the team, each one deeply passionate about the work they do, it was easy to see how Revo has the reputation it does. Thanks for turning out on a Sunday lads!
A brief interlude gave us the opportunity to peruse more of the excellent cars that PHers had brought before watching the day's second demo. A Skoda Octavia vRS diesel was given another 42hp thanks to Revo's work, a result the owner was seemingly very pleased with given the look on his face!
We hope you enjoyed the Sunday Service at Revo; despite being a relatively small operation they overdelivered on expectations - much like their modifications!
