Sitting around the table with the family is always the time to throw out an obscure fact to leave the rest of the family in awe. So, when it falls to little known French car manufacturers - you're a PHer, so it must come up at some point - the obvious Citroen, Peugeot and Renault will not give you much kudos. Alpine and Bugatti might catch a few nods of approval but what you really want is the whole table to bow down to your superior car knowledge.
Ten other manufacturers such as Venturi, De La Chapelle and De Clercq are still active, while those who played Gran Turismo may remember the Oreca-prepped Dodge Vipers. And who can forget the Pescarolo Sport cars, created by four-time Le Mans winner and general legend Henri Pescarolo?
Hundreds of other French companies manufactured cars in the early 1900s but folded soon after. Show us your French car knowledge here.
