The above line from Lord Tennyson's poem In Memoriam A.H.H stands true when talking about cars just as much as it does when talking about good friends. Well, we think so. Remembering all the good times spent in the car as you watch it be driven away by the new owner can be heart-breaking.
Even just seeing the same model can bring those memories flooding back and the want to replace it with something grows stronger. Many a PHer has experienced this, with our OP feeling remorseful over selling his BMW 5 Series to a family member. Even though it has gone, it is close enough for him to pop round and go for a quick spin. Some other PHers have sold cars including an M3 CSL, E39 M5, R8 V10, Corvette and a Camaro RS, which they regret to this day even if they did make a profit.
What cars have you regretted selling? Let us know here.
