The
Fast and The Furious 2 starts filming in Miami this month and the makers of the
film have been on the lookout for cars. This Hyundai (pronounced HYUNDAI!!!)
Elantra is to feature. The car was on display at the Speciality Equipment
Marketing Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, and so impressed the makers of
the film they offered Marck and the Elantra a small part in the film.
Marck’s Elantra is in pearl silver with a tenzo blue interior, and features
a custom JT EVO body kit, shaved (removed) door handles and flared wheel arches.
The suspension has a Chassis Tech air ride system, which allows it to bounce up
and down by remote control.
The first Fast and the Furious, which starred Vin Diesel and Paul Walker made
$140 million in the US alone. It centred around the world of illegal street
racing, by drivers who race highly modified cars.
