2017 picked up right where 2016 left off in terms of supercars in London; most specifically with the Lamborghini Veneno, which was my first 'spot' of the year right at the start of January. However, as many of you seemed more appalled than amazed by the Veneno, it has not been included in January's album - much to your relief, I'm sure!
So what is included? Just the standard stuff really. A Pagani Zonda F with C12S wing driving on Sloane Street. A bespoke white and blue carbon LaFerrari, parked alongside only the second LaFerrari Aperta to have been seen in London. A Koenigsegg CCX next to an equally fantastic, yet entirely different, Ferrari F12 TDF. The Porsche 911 R and Carrera GT parked together like it's not a big deal at all was a personal favourite. And two McLaren 675LT Spiders parked side by side in Mayfair.
As I said, pretty standard stuff. What about the interesting cars, then? Highlights of January would have to include a Lightweight Jaguar E-Type, one of the six 'missing' chassis that Jaguar Heritage recently built, each selling for £1.2m, a very clean Bugatti Veyron Super Sport and a stunning Aston Martin DB5 that could be straight out of Goldfinger.
At the time of writing the few days of February we've already had have been as strong, if not stronger than January! So be sure to check back in a month's time for more of the same.
