Passione Ferrari is a track day hosted every year at Silverstone Circuit for Ferrari owners and fans alike. This year's celebration of all things Ferrari took place at the end of September and attracted an incredible array of exotica, up to and including the very rarest and most valuable Ferrari road and track cars. Proof that at least some owners realise there's more to owning these machines than driving around Knightsbridge!
Throughout the weekend several races and displays took place, most notably the ultra-exclusive FXX-K and 599XX cars from Ferrari's own Corse Clienti program. The most loyal (and wealthy) Ferrari customers were able to take their multi-million pound track toys around Silverstone's famous F1 circuit under the expert guidance of Rene Arnoux and Marc Gene.
Throughout the weekend owners were able to stretch the legs of their prancing horses, with even the very limited edition LaFerrari and F12 TDF making appearances on track. Not a lot can show up a Ferrari at a Ferrari track day, but one visitor certainly tried, parking the unique, full carbon Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse M.A.N. edition proudly on display at the circuit!
With or without gatecrashers of that calibre Passione Ferrari is a unique opportunity to get up close to a whole range of magnificent Ferraris - past and present. See Ferrari, or Silverstone Circuit's website for information on next year's event.
