Despite a cold start to the day on Sunday, we knew the trusty PH community would pull through and make our 0400h start worthwhile ... and we weren't wrong! You turned up in force, filling all 650 spaces and making it one of our biggest (and best!) Sunday Services ever.
A fantastic array of cars turned up; from Caterhams to McLarens and from a Trojan bubble car to a Hakosuka GT-R, the brilliantly diverse attendance gave both the PH team and the members plenty to gawp at throughout the day. Favourites being the lovely Subaru P1, a fantastic sounding Lotus Evora and a gorgeous Noble M600.
Those PH members not on track themselves were able to enjoy the action from the grandstands and pit lane, and also from the passenger seat of our very own Ben's immensely fun Clio 172 Cup (his tyres showing proof of this). We also had Caterham giving passenger rides around the track too, which was a huge hit and gave our members a chance to experience the thrill of the 420R and 620S, for free!
A huge thank you to all that attended, from what we have seen and heard it was a very successful day with some great driving on track, lots of smiles induced and tyres ruined in the process. Credit, as ever, to the marshals who kept us all safe too.
Our resident photographer, Chris Teagles, was there all day taking shots of the track action, they should be ready in a couple of days for you to check out here.
Our next Sunday Service with be this coming Sunday, 30th October, where we will be attending the Classic and Sports Car Show at Alexandra Palace. Sign on here!
