Typically the best secondhand cars are not impulse purchases. Buyers spends hours a day researching their next cars, looking up potential faults, insurance quotes, scouring forums for like minded individuals and finding that perfect spec.
Once the V5 has been signed over, money has exchanged hands and it is on the driveway, the search stops. The perfect car is now yours and will hopefully remain for many years to come.
But then a change in circumstances leads to regrettably having to sell that 'keeper' to fund a house or a growing family - plenty of posters in this thread can relate to that.
There are many different makes and models mentioned but one thing is for certain, the bond between owner and car remains a strong one!
