: Renault Clio Mk2, Ford KA Mk1, Mazda RX-8
: Audi RS3, Porsche 911, Corvette Stingray C3, Fiat Punto Abarth
Mazda RX-8
Cost: £6,500
Balance: £93,500
Why I chose it: "My previous RX-8 met an untimely end unfortunately, but I would love to own another. Fantastic cars to drive and own, and still got many appreciative glances! This one is perfect - late model, in black, with the leather and Bose stereo. You can go so fast for so little outlay in one of these, and would recommend one to anyone as long as you take into account the petrol costs..."
Land Rover Defender 90
: "Who doesn't love a Defender? This one's a beast and, as the ad says, the last of the six-seat 9's. Low mileage and full service history on this one too. I'd use this mainly for off-roading, but also the occasional daily drive. I'd fit a roof cage too for the mountain bikes I hope to buy with the change from my £100K."
Honda Civic Type R
Cost: £10,495
Balance: £63,110
Why I chose it: "I would love some Type R performance in my garage, and I quite like the Civic I have now. My current 1.4 Civic was only bought as a stop-gap, but as I drive the nuts off it everywhere and quite like it, an upgrade to a Type R will be considered! My current Civic is a nice place to sit, and this one only improves on it with the buckets and usual red Type R additions."
Fiat 500 Abarth
: "My grandma has a standard 500, and it seems like a fun car to drive and I have to admit I have always liked them. Obviously, I would not want a poor 1.2 so I'll take this Abarth. I love how the gearstick is on the dash in these, and reckon this would come into its own in an Abarth on the B-roads. 0-60 in 7.9 seconds would be a right laugh."
Nissan 370Z GT-Pack
Cost: £17,995
Balance: £34,465
Why I chose it: "Would love to drive and own a Nissan Z car, this one suits perfectly. Great spec on this one with the Bose audio system fitted, and looks great in black. Would use on regular days just like the RX-8, except might consider for occasional track use?"
Mercedes-Benz C200
: "Wanted a newish Mercedes on the list, and this C200 was the final choice. Although its only the small petrol, I have plenty of fast cars in the garage to make up for this, and I'd probably use this one on long motorway drives when all the seats were needed. Love the AMG kit package on these too, and feel that at last Mercedes have got their range back to how good it was in the early 90s - current Mercs I reckon will be looked upon like we currently do the 80s and earlier models."
Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Cost: £11,490
Balance: £-1,975
Why I chose it: "So some haggling will have to done here! But I'll get away with it as the difference is probably the price I'd get for selling my current Civic (it's a little battle scarred). Would use this Camaro for weekend drives to the car boot sales! Would like a manual model, but this auto will still be alright. Wanted a classic American car on the list and this one has a re-trimmed interior too, and I'd possibly respray the alloys black too."
