You would have never thought it was the middle of December as we covered the short distance down the A1 from our overnight stay in Harrogate to Garforth with the sun shining and temperature gauge on the dash reading 14 degrees. Now whether this climatic phenomenon was down to a rare El Nino or the 5.0-litre supercharged Range Rover SVR nearby we are yet to find out.
As a fellow Yorkshireman, I can proudly say that the northern confederation gave the south a run for their money with some fantastic cars in attendance. Now I'm not sure whether it's just a coincidence this close to Christmas but our Sunday Service had a religious parity to it as cars came in two by two. A brace of Volvo V60 Polestars (a car close to PH's heart) a pair of Lotus Evora GTEs, Elises, Porsche 911 Turbos and Lamborghini Huracans made their way through the gates. It was great to see a number of Ginettas return to their birthplace. The star of the show for us though was the absolutely flawless Skyline R32 GT-R.
After arrival drinks and official welcome by Lawrence Tomlinson, the Ginetta team gave us the grand tour of the factory, giving insight into processes for carbon-composite panel production to testing and building customer cars.
A massive thank you to everyone at Ginetta for the highest level of professionalism, organization and hospitality shown, plus sacrificing their Sunday to show us around!
Also we have to give a big mention and thank you to our own SS veteran 'Iva Barchetta' who made his way all the way from Surrey and who has attended nearly every Sunday Service of 2015.
So I leave you with goodbye and a massive thank you to all those who have attended a Sunday Service this year. It has been a pleasure to meet so many of you, a great welcome into the PistonHeads community and also to all the manufacturers who have kindly opened their doors to us in 2015.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We'll be back for more in 2016 - check back soon!

P.S. One more thing - fraudulent duplication of Haymarket documents will not be tolerated and anyone found doing so will be reprimanded (We thought this was fantastic and ended the year on a laugh).
