If 2016 is the Chinese year of the Monkey August in London was the month of the Lamborghini Aventador SV. True to say there were so many of the limited run Aventador around Knightsbridge and Kensington we actually lost count - surely a significant number of the 600 coupes and 500 roadsters built must have been in the capital though! No bad thing of course, unless it's 2am and one is ragging up and down the street outside your home!
SuperVeloces aside August has been a good month for supercars in London. We've seen everything from the timeless Ferrari 288 GTO, to the outrageous Mansory Cyrus. Highlights included two McLaren P1s parked side-by-side at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, a very rare sighting of the Lexus LFA Nurburgring and a satin white Ferrari LaFerrari parked beside the ultra-exclusive Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Rembrandt.
Below is a small selection, more of which can be found if you follow us on Instagram at PistonHeads_Speedmatters. Believe us when we say we could have made this entire album just of SVs. Several times over.
