Reader's Car Of The Week has been a staple for a number of months but this week we're branching out a little to feature a PHer with an entire fleet of cars worthy of further examination. Alex_225 has quite the collection - a 136,000-mile Saab 9-3 wagon returning 60mpg that cost a just a couple of hundred quid over Shed's £1,000 threshold. Painted dark grey matched to a cream/black part leather interior, this Saab is a trusted workhorse and nothing else.
Or rather was. Unfortunately, last Monday the Saab moved on to a new owner with whom it will happily reach a quarter of a million miles - let us know if you were the buyer! Now onto the fun stuff.
The OP loves anything Gordini related so a Renault Twingo Gordini had to feature. It sits alongside his other Renaultsport product, a 2006 Megane 255. Both were bought new and have been cherished so much so that the Megane has only 3,000 miles on the clock. It must be hard to shut the garage door on the Ultra Red paint knowing that it won't see the light of day until the wet winter months are over.
One car that can help get over the heartache goes off on a very different tangent, bearing an AMG badge. His sleek CLS63 is an ideal motorway muncher and, like the rest of his cars, in immaculate condition.
Congratulations Alex_225 your garage merits celebrating as our Reader's Car(s) Of The Week.
