The noise, as you'll hear, has been a big part of the appeal. But there's so much more to the SVR's charm than the brazen V8 soundtrack. No really, there is. As the first SVR product from JLR's new Special Vehicle Operations department, the Sport needed to establish just what the sub-brand would be about. And it's in these details that the car really appears to have won Dan over, subtle but influential traits like the damping, control weights and driving position. The future looks good for future SVRs, put it that way.
From an entrenched cynic, Dan does seem to have been largely convinced by the SVR's talents. Is he a full fast SUV fan now though? Time to watch the vid!
