: Gordon Keeble GK1 (number 98 of 99). One of four completed in International Touring spec
: "Morris Minor, Subaru WRX STI, Caterham Seven R400 Superlight and a host of other 'sensible' (read: boring) cars."
Not a bad two car garage!
"I wanted something really classic and beautiful, but also unusual and rare. The Corvette Stingray 5.4-litre V8 was a rather nice bonus!"
What I wish I'd known:
"How much fun all the people who would want to stop me and want to know all about it would be. Sharing it with others is really nice."
Things I love:
"How it teaches me that sometimes in life it is all about the journey, not the destination. Every drive is special and leaves me smiling."
Over 30 years with this PHer
"Nothing. Not a Caterham Superlight in the corners, but it was never intended as a track monster."
Costs:
"Nothing crazy really, although 14mpg isn't exactly 'world class' efficiency. Now a bit spicy to purchase, but I crossed that bridge back in the day thankfully."
Where I've been:
"Nothing that adventurous really, it has 18,000 miles from new. I did fancy a steady lap of the Nordschleife but not done that just yet. One day..."
What next?
"Just keep looking after the old girl in the manner appropriate for such a beautiful piece of history."
