As expected, the

has rather captured the PH imagination. At present the original story has 362 comments; for some perspective that's more than the 488 Spider, F12 TdF and 570S stories combined. Quite a bit more.

So it's eagerly anticipated, and this video will only help the M2's cause. Yes, the footage is sped up at points and it's interspersed with some techy bits, but essentially it's an M2 being driven very quickly at Anglesey. Marvellous.

And by heck does it powerslide. Not exactly the greatest revelation about the M2's dynamics but a pleasing one to witness nonetheless. Big, lairy, smoky drifts are very much on the agenda. There's a brief preview of the noise too; predictably enough there are hints of M3 from outside and plenty of aggression, combined with parps and burps from the DCT. An iconic M noise? Over to you...
