Muscle, boldness and power were certainly not lacking from the original
Nissan Juke-R
. Well, everybody apart from Nissan thought that. So here we have the Juke-R 2.0, a more muscular, bolder and powerful
GT-R
engined Juke. Superb news!
Oh Lord, it's spawned offspring!
Compared to the first car, this Juke-R is now up to 600hp (against 485 before) from the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 and the cooling has been improved with a new bumper and bonnet. There are a few design tweaks also, with updated GT-R wheels and the MY2015 Juke lights. This is meant to celebrate the success of Nissan's smallest crossover, remember...
See as well the carbon rear bumper with a more pronounced diffuser, the redesigned flared arches and new wings. Much of it is now carbon, albeit lurking under that moody matt black paint once more. We're told the inside is also identical.
The Juke-R 2.0 is on Nissan's stand today at the Festival of Speed and will be going up the hill three times over the weekend with Jann Mardenborough driving. Buying one? Ha. A Juke-engined GT-R is more likely.
