Not content with plotting a baby SUV (see today's other Porsche story), Porsche also plans a new 928 style GT coupé – which has now been publicly admitted. Using the Panamera as the starting point, the car will be shorter and go head to head with the Bentley GT Continental and Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.
Chances are it'll be motivated by the Cayenne's 4.5-litre bi-turbo V8. This potent motor offers 521bhp and 5,500rpm and 531lb-ft of torque as tuned for the Cayenne. It pushes the bulky off-roader to 62mph in 5.2 seconds so imagine what it might do for a slippery GT coupé.
