Looks good doesn't it? In a fortuitous coincidence, we have received an update on
the PH M4
having just driven the new
M3 and M4
models last week. It's in build right now and the pics here are BMW renderings from the completed spec.
There's plenty more carbon besides the roof
So what have we got? Quite a lot, in all honesty. It's enough to make the dealer demonstrators look sparse. Many colour choices were clearly in contention as Tanzanite Blue came out with the largest share of the vote at only 33 per cent. Black upholstery was chosen by 55 per cent of you, Sakhir Orange was the most popular stitching option and carbon fibre trim came out on top too.
Carbon is a predominant theme throughout the car actually. So there's a carbon rear spoiler, front splitter, mirror caps, diffuser. Don't forget the Alcantara/carbon wheel with race display too.
Other important stuff? The carbon ceramics box was ticked by 68.5 per cent and the majority just (52 per cent) favoured black wheels.
Of course it's got the Race Display wheel
It's certainly unique, and our car is in fact the first BMW Individual M4 to be built for the UK. We have plenty planned for it as soon as it's complete, which is to be announced soon, but it promises to be worth the wait. You won't be kept in suspense for too long!
For now we can announce winners of the BMW Goodwood Festival of Speed prize draw. You may recall everyone who specced the car was automatically entered into a draw for Thursday Moving Motor Show tickets at the Festival provided by BMW, which is now of course only a few weeks away. The tickets include access to the BMW Lounge as well.
The randomly selected winners of two pairs of tickets are Andrew Nunn and Callum Watkin; well done chaps, and keep an eye on your inbox for more details soon.
More on the PH M4 shortly!
