You can tell the internet your darkest secrets. Well, you can as long as you've worked out how to tidy up your browsing history before lending your laptop to your mother. And here's one we'll understand if you want to switch to incognito mode for - a (rather good) Back to the Future replica DeLorean in the unlikely environment of Somerset.
Admitting in public you like the dumb 1980s time travel drama - or its two massively dumber sequels - is still social death in much of society. But it's hard for anyone of a certain age not to see this super-accurate replica of the DeLorean DMC-12 that was cast as the film's four-wheeled time machine and not start spouting chunks of dialogue: "The Libyans!", "Get used to these bars, kid," "Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads." And so on.
Before you know it you're logging into eBay to bid on a replica hoverboard yourself.
The replica itself seems pretty much spot-on, including details like the all important digital 'time circuits', the 'Mr Fusion' generator with which the car returns from the future at the end of the first film with and even a Flux Capacitor that lights up at 88mph.
The car's owner, Ollie Wilkie, is far too young to be able to justify his obsession by having seen the film in the cinema himself, but apparently he does make some cash by renting it out. And as we get closer to 'Back to the Future Day' - October 21 next year, the date when the future parts of the sequel films were set - we imagine his phone will start to ring more often.
