To go even quicker than the remarkable 996 Turbo takes some doing but the 996 GT2 does exactly that, topping out at almost 200mph. Porsche have cut the GT2's weight by over 100kg by amongst other things dropping the Turbo's hefty 4 wheel drive system. Power to weight therefore is up 44bhp/ton on the Turbo, making for a sub 4 seconds to 60mph.
