Immaculate 2002 Sherco 290cc (a one off)

Hi, here for sale is my pristine example 2002 Sherco 290cc. I bought this bike in 2002 when it was just three months old. The previous owner had only used it for around 5 hours and it was as new.

I bought the Sherco to take to my in-laws Spanish holiday home to give me something to do when I visited twice a year. I have used it there around 15 times in total and it's only been used on grassy bank type terrain. I am only at a beginner level (over 40) so the bike has seen nothing in the way of hard work. The bike has been cleaned more than it's been rode and as can be seen in the photo's, it arguably the cleanest low use 2002 trials bike anywhere today? It is unmarked and in mint condition.

I cleaned the air filter and carb every time I visited Spain and have used comp2 premix, quality gear oil and NGK spark plugs. Anything the bike required during my ownership was done. The bike has never let me down, EVER.

The bike rides like the day I got it and has NO mechanical or electrical faults what so ever. It is smooth and is a pleasure to ride.

You are welcome to bring a mechanic with you when viewing as this bike will pass any inspection.

This bike is a one of a kind and I believe you would have to buy a new Sherco at over £4.5K to better its condition.

Sadly my In-laws have now sold up in Spain, so I had the bike couriered home last week and unfortunately it's now time to sell.

The bike is priced according to the condition and use its had. You obviously can buy 2002 290 Sherco's for around £1100 but they are tired, well worn machines that require on going maintenance and parts. This bike requires nothing and is in another league to any 2002's available today.
