944 Turbo - Emerald ECU, Leather Interior and more (1987)

For sale is my 1987 944 Turbo (220hp version) in red with full leather.

The car has a sports steering wheel, new interior carpets, beautiful wheels, Toyo Proxy Tyres (scuffed but plenty of tread after a Bedford Track Day), Big Red calipers and stainless lines, Emerald ECU installed by Fusion Motorsport which dynoed at 225bhp - this car is ready for any modifications to be made and tuned correctly using the new ECU (wastergate, turbo, fuel pressure regulators etc).

The balance and cam belts were changed last year along with all the top end oil seals at GT One, it has had new discs and pads, new vacuum lines also.

The ECU is still bedding in and the car is returning to Fusion Motorsport to have a dodgy temp sensor replaced and the cold start improved - this will be fixed while I own the car as I am still using it!!

The Emerald ECU replaced both the orginal (and problematic!) ECUs and uses a wide array of orginal and new sensors. The old fashioned air box and AFM have been replaced in favour of Mass Air Pressure and air filter cone, the turbo is not controled using a boost solenoid by the new ECU for example.

She has 12 months MOT with an advisory for an slight oil leak.

The down sides are some damage to piping on one seat bolster, there is an aircon button but the car doesn't have aircon, slightly rusty vanity sill on the front which I am looking to have repaired. This depends on if/when the car sells of course. If it is a week after the advert goes up I won't have got around to it!

The body work and underside are all in good order, the engine works beautifully and she is a pleasure to drive.

I am in no rush to sell her but have other plans that now require my money and attention.
