Highly Tuned 1994 Brooklands Green V8S (1994)
For sale is my 1994 V8S in Brooklands Green.
The car has had a complete engine rebuild to a very high specification carried out by Austec of Gatwick. In addition the car has had Nitron adjustable shock absorbers fitted and Griff 500 brakes. The previous owner to myself had in excess of £14k's worth of work carried out to the car. I have a large box file together with another smaller file full of receipts for the various works carried out. The works include the following: New rear trailing arms fitted. New outriggers fitted. Brake and suspension upgrades. Complete engine rebuild including lightened and balance bottom end , new bearing shells, stage three tuned and ported big valve heads (the original engine was a 400HC engine) 3D electronic engine mapping, Mark Adams Tornado Chip, de-catted sports exhaust, fast road cams plus much more. 17" Alloys. The list of all the works carried out would go on for substantially longer so feel free to inspect or ring for details. I have a rolling road graph showing that the engine develops 272bhp and 290 lbft of torque which is quite extraordinary for a 4 litre TVR engine. In fact, as I'm sure most of you will know that level of power would be quite respectable for a 5 litre engine. The car has a new(ish) MOT and is taxed until August. The car flew through it's MOT about three weeks ago and only failed on a faulty reg plate bulb. The chassis is in very good condition as would be expected since I have kept it in a garage for the last two years. The previous keeper also garaged the car. The bodywork is sound as can be seen in the photographs. There are a few nicks and light scratches so I would not describe this as a 'show car' but once polished up the car is very presentable indeed. As with all TVR's the car often recieves many favourable comments. There is some wear (but no tears) to the drivers' seat and the veneer on the switch panel is delaminating. Othrwise the interior is fine. All of the instrument cluster lights work, as do the instruments themselves. The hood does not leak (I have been caught out in the rain once or twice) and there are no issues of the footwells filling up with water overnight if left out in the rain. The car drives without fault and starts on the button. No overheating issues either. I drove the car from Brighton to Bath across country a couple of weeks ago and had no problems whatsoever! I have put new alloys on the car as can be seen in the photographs but I still have the original 15" TVR alloys with excellent tyres on both sets. I will give these to the new owner. The Speedometer can be temperamental (as is the case with many TVR's) so as it is important to monitor your speed accurately I'll throw in my Road Angel. Since I have owned the car I have replaced the alternator, Fuel pump, filter and relays and battery. The car really is very reliable. I have owned two TVR's previously including a 4 litre Chimaera which had been chipped and provided with fast road cams. I can honestly say that the performance of the Chim did not even come close to that of this vehicle. If you have driven 4 and 4.5 litre TVR's you will probably be quite astonished at how much quicker this car is. I am selling as I have been offered a partnership with my buisness and because my BMW M3 engine has blown and I need to raise funds for both. I will be very sad to see her go!! I have tried to be honest in my descriptions and would welcombe any inspections. Harry W was the previous owner who may be able to inform you with more detail in respect of the engine re-build and other improvements ( if he doesn't mind of course). The car is located in Brighton. Please feel free to ask any questions. Please ring me on 07855 958015 as I've been informed thatthe number shown is not working. Thanks. Part Exchange: Maybe Merc e320 cdi 0r BMW 530/330D
