The PistonHeads Performance Car Show is set to enter a new dimension next year with the introduction of a brand-new show area featuring the latest gadgets and hi-fi equipment.
The show organisers have joined forces with two of the UK's market-leading entertainment and gadget magazines to create the Stuff Zone with What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision area.
The newly formed area aims to showcase the leading and latest innovations in hi-fi, home cinema and technology, incorporating some of the biggest and best brands from the hi-fi and entertainment industries. The inclusion and support of both Stuff and What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision magazines provide visitors with a rare chance to talk face-to-face with the product experts both from the magazines and the manufacturers. Last but not least, the zone will give visitors the opportunity to buy the latest consumer technology products at amazing not-available-in-shops discounts.
"PistonHeads has thriving forums covering Home Cinema & Hi-Fi, Photography & Video, Computers, Gadgets and Stuff, and Computer Games, so we already know that the PistonHeads' reader is interested in technology, and has a desire to keep-up with current trends," says Paul Garlick, Brand Manager of PistonHeads.com. "Is there a better day out than looking at fantastic performance cars and being able to sample the latest gadgets? We think the readers will really enjoy this addition to the show."
"Looking at the marketplace, we spotted an opportunity to provide our visitors with an exciting and vibrant new show area that will certainly enhance their show experience," explains Autosport International Show Director Ian France. "So far, this initiative has been very positively received, and we are of course delighted to be supported by the two biggest magazine titles in the industry."
Held at the NEC in Birmingham, from 14-17 January 2010, the PistonHeads Show traditionally offers visitors the opportunity to get up-close to some of the most well-known names in performance motoring. This will now also include some of the biggest names in the hi-fi and technology sector.
