Got mine from Costco, about £100 cheaper than list. It beats radar detectors because you always take notice. Shame you can't add just a laser detector. Origin updated the GPS engine on mine which made it lock on much quicker. Backlight is a bit dim, but I...

I'd echo the comments on power supply, as I've 3 cars I'd want to use this in, but I don't want to wire it up for all of them.

Fittings are a bit poor too, as the supplied sticky pads are a bit weak, meaning the only solution is to screw the base...

Only negetives, bulky and difficult to "balance" when moving from one car to another, plus the volume is poor, am seeking advice from supplier to see if extension speaker possible, "otherwise does exacting what it says on the can"

Not lound enough in my Elise.

Also no warning when lock is lost.

Screen is poor quality and hard to read unless your car has a perfect mounting position.

Appart from that, its great, its just these things ruin it utterly.

Very good unit overall but with one or two build concerns. Not loud enough in my cobra but o.k. in normal road car.I also think the unit should beep a warning when sat signal is lost as you can be left unprotected if you fail to notice sat lock is lost.

This unit is very handy - it tells you as you approach a "safety device" and its beepings get more frantic as you get closer. The directional function is very handy, too - no false alarms from cameras on the opposite side of the road. Only two minor niggl...

Dead easy to use. Mounted right next to steering wheel to catch my attention. Not loud enough in a TVR without roof. Great warnings, lots of detail. Caught everything so far, the SPECS being the most impressive.
