Ride Drive is holding a track day -- with a difference.
Main Circuit (Sprint Circuit)
This is two miles long with a number of high-speed corners that can be driven at a speed of over 100mph. In contrast, there's a series of ‘S’ bends where discipline is required to bring the speed right down and to remain on the right line to complete the complex under control.
Average track time will be five hours or more.
This will be running along side the main event all through the day and is a tight twisting and demanding course run against the clock designed is such a way so as to provoke vehicle control loss. Definitely the best way to explore your own limits and that of your car!
Vehicles will be run on the course one at a time and will, said Ride Drive, "sort out the men from the boys or the women from the girls". There will be an instructor on hand all through the day on this one.
On the day, Ride Drive will be running an open pit lane policy on the main circuit.
Circuit rules apply (no overtaking in corners and in braking areas etc.) and will be explained fully on the day.
