The Leading Edge Sports Car Company have further refined their product -
since we road tested it (here)
- with a number of upgrades.
- Improved Braking efficiency with the fitment of larger 310mm ventilated
front discs and optimised brake pads from performance friction. These brakes
are standard on the 240RT and are available as an option on the 190RT.
- Rear wheel and tyre sizes have been increased to 7.5 x 17 with 235 / 40 x
17 Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres, the front remains unchanged at 205 x45 x 17 on
7 x 17 light alloy wheels.
- Aerodynamics have been optimised with the standard fitment of a front air
splitter and extended underbody floor tray extending to the rear of the car.
- Access to the cockpit has been greatly improved with the fitment of
surface mounted accessible door handles.
- A light weight fully enclosed hard top has been developed which offers
full weather protection and added security, making the car useable all year
round. This is available as an option on both models. Owners of existing
cars can have the hardtop retro fitted.
- Fuel injection has been standardised on both the 190RT and the 240RT
models for enhanced performance, making the car both smoother at low RPM and
offering increased tuneability. The system utilises individual throttle
bodies and programmable computer control.
- There's also an alternative four headlamp bonnet. This will be standard on
all left hand drive export models and is offered as an option on all UK
models. The conversion features four 90mm Hella lamps giving the car a more
aggressive frontal stance.
Good to see that LESCC aren't resting on their laurals!
