| Small circuit in Kent Used mainly for club motorsport, Lydden is based near Canterbury in Kent. The circuit may only be a mile long but it's a very challenging mile. |

"Great for racing or spectating"It's better than it looks Not much fun for a track day due to it's size and lack of run off. However, comes into it's own for sprint and racing - some fun sideways corners. ...

"Great place to start racing" recommended reviewI have done 14 races with qualifyings and a testday at Lydden this year. It is a challenge, 5 mins to learn a lifetime to master. It still catches experienced campaigners out. Slicks are a must as are good brakes. My lap times are 4...

"A little Gem in the depths of Kent" recommended reviewAlthough small, Lydden is perfectly formed. Hewn from the Kentish chalk banks, it is an inverted Brands Indi track. The circuit offers some very challenging bends, Paddock being the most critical. Chessons Drift in a RWD car is an absolute blast, wet or d...

"Better for spectators than drivers"Too short and slow for my liking - and the run off is fairly minimal in places too. Paddock Hill bend just brings understeer in my FWD Golf, give me Thruxton instead any day.

"Unless you're in a kart or a sprint - don't bother." recommended reviewOn the few occasions that Lydden is in use, it's pretty poor. Facilities aren't great (although the burger van does a good breakfast!) and the track is just too short to be any fun. A quick blat downhill along the start straight takes you almost immediate...
