After the rumours that Porsche may be considering a special edition 'Supersport' 911 earlier this week, in a tribute to the 1984 'Turbo-look' car, we had a nose about looking at some classic Porker pics. There were some great shots, but we liked this one so much that we just had to share it with you - we're just that sort of people here at PH.

Pictured is what we're fairly certain is a 2.8-litre variant of the 1973 911 Carrera RSR, looking rather splendid in silver with Martini livery. And for the Porsche die-hards out there, we've done our homework - this is believed to be chassis number 911.360.0588. Not bad, eh.

Of course, being PH, someone can probably tell us more, along with the exact make and model of the lorry behind it too...
