This stunning TVR 3000 M made it public debut on the 2001 Techno Classica Motor Show in Essen and was spotted lurking inconspicuously at Zolder during the Continental Meeting.

The car features a 'small' power upgrade by Bornemann of Braunschweig, Germany. In the front section of the modified and strengthened chassis lurks a menacing 2.0 Ford Cosworth Turbo engine, developing no less than 360 bhp (at 1.4 bar). The power is delivered at the wheels through a 5 speed Cosworth gearbox and limited slip differential.

Hauling the little beauty to a stop are Porsche brake discs with 4 pot callipers and even ABS - is this the only TVR ever with ABS!?

The suspension is fully adjustable while the wheels are custom made 3 piece 16 inch alloys with Minilite design. The interior too has been completely refurbished and features leather bucket seats and a complete roll cage.

Bornemann were not able to give performance figures, but there is no doubt they will be in the Griff 500 league. As is the price, by the way. This particular car is for sale at a massive 129,000 DEM/67,000 euro/£41,000, but then you get a fully TÜV approved road legal racer. Who said the Germans had no sense of humour?
