It will all end once youtube decide to stop suggesting it though. Once it moves on there’s not much the creators can do, as other creators get ‘suggested’ to viewers
Doesn’t really work like that I’m afraid
I was going to say the same thing but deaf ears and all that.

I would expect with a solid core of subscribers that watch all the videos then even without the algorithm pushing the content the no of views is still going to be significantly high.

Hard to please everyone I’m afraid. A lot of people enjoy the videos of actually finishing the car and enjoying it. I also really enjoy making them. Nice bit of difference to being locked in the unit all the time. Also I wouldn’t really change what works. The video did 1.7m views over night so it’s hard to deny that people don’t like it. Its like any show really there’s going to be episodes you like and some you don’t
The popularity of this video (1.9M views) is because of previous videos. The real measure is the percentage who watch to the end, and how many watch the next one.

I did, and I enjoyed it - even the "pointless" Lambo race smile .

Actually, I think the race was a good hook to maintain interest to the end. There can't be 1.9M petrolheads watching this. There must be a very large proportion of people who just want a little story.

I enjoyed it too, keep doing what you're doing Mat (not that you need validation from a bunch of incontinent and bitter old farts!)

Does anybody know what happened to the GT3, not been seen since that video
Tavarish has it in the States.
Thats the purple one. Don't forget he also has the black one in the UK.

Mat said on an Instagram story recently that there is a video coming on it soon (May be on the Mk2 channel, I can't remember)

Personally, I found the over-enthusiastic hysteria very annoying, but I think that kind of exhuberance is a large part of the appeal to many of the 2.9M viewers.

I wonder how much of the track he cut? wink

Christ, if you can't be enthusiastic about doing Star in a Reasonably Priced Car with the Stig, I don't think this is the right place for you!

I never said it wasn't genuine, just that it annoyed me, but that's just me.

I'm sure that Mat will be relieved to know that I'm still subscribed, and looking forward to the next video smile .

Oh, I fully realise you think its genuine, it didn't seem to over the top enthusiastic either having had another brief watch of it. If the public could hire the same experience, it would be very popular.

I always thought TG should have done a sweepstake and on the last episode of a season, the random winner of the draw could have a go.

It could have been a bit embarrassing if Joe Bloggs were faster than Damon Hill, though biglaugh

Mat was faster than Damon Hill, and would have been top of the regular SIARPC leaderboard for that car by nearly a second.

Cracking episode and also not too jealous of them hanging out with the stig and giving the beans to the reasonably priced car! Made me laugh when the stig wouldn't do another lap with Mat.

How did Matt get the Suzuki to wheelspin on his change from 1st to 2nd?!

His gearshifts must have been absolutely brutal!!

lol I actually thought the same thing. For a car with zero power to wheel spin in second is some feat
