As it’s seen as a signature piece showing coachbuilding skills, I think better if they had based it on the SLR or Plus 4 Plus. Just tinkering with the 6’s styling and adding some extra timber elements IMO does basically the opposite, spoiling a great looking car, and they don’t seem to have thought to conceal those visible door hinges.
I'd argue the visible hinges are part of the look. If it ain't broke.....biggbn said:

No roll hoop ?!?
It seems it has a Merc. SL R129 like pyrotechnic rollover hoop that springs up when it detects a potential roll over scenario. It seems if you're an emergency worker attending an accident involving a car with a pyrotechnic roll hoop you have be on your guard if it hasn't deployed.
I searched for a YouTube video showing the R129 rollover hoop popping up but most of the results seemed to be about running an old one now and how to manually raise for aesthetic or access reasons.
Every time an article on a new BMW engined Morgan appears there are numerous complaints about the steering wheel and gear stick. A company such as Morgan cannot afford the development costs of a new design.
I have also read that the owner can choose if they want a more substantial windscreen or the design shown in the press release photos.

Possibly....but a wooden wheel and selector would finish that off.I have also read that the owner can choose if they want a more substantial windscreen or the design shown in the press release photos.
There's so much about this that I would ordinarily throw a big "meh" at...but that's gorgeous.

Lovely looking car. I love creations like this. I have also read that the owner can choose if they want a more substantial windscreen or the design shown in the press release photos.
The parts bin elements do stick out. A shame they couldn’t at least be blended in, but I get why. The steering wheel in the same leather as the seats might help and if feasible, matching wood instead of that silver plastic. There must be a bit of leather of the gear stick to blend also. Probably too expensive to do anything about the black front section.
A car that would definitely suit a manual and nicer gear stick.
The usual cliche is BMW’s budget for the wheel and gear knob was properly more than this whole car itself.
