either that or Khan's a bit of a princess.
Do you think the MP Mike Freer is also "a bit of a princess" for giving up politics due to death threats? What a strange position to have.
It was a statement of possibility, not necessarily his position.

Criticism doesn't always mean you hold the opposite position.
Thats fair. Personally I think death threats to politicians are uncalled for and if they need to take extra security measures, or (unfortunately) step back from public service then they should be supported.

+1
Threats can deter perfectly good candidates from stepping forward into public service.
It's double difficult for Independents who lack the funding / support from political parties.

Seems like a sensible policy

Why wouldn't it happen?

because they own them? that's theft.

You can use unexplained wealth orders, but the wealth is pretty clear. The funds wern't under sanction at the time, completed AML/KYC etc. You can freeze assets to prevent a sale, but you cant buy them anyway as you are dealing with a sanctioned entity.

Yachts and bank accounts were frozen. Why would you then not apply that to property they own as well?

A yacht can be moved to somewhere without sanctions
A bank transfer can move funds outside the UK

very hard to move a property... They also cant sell it as people cant give them funds, lawyers cant kyc, etc etc

you can read the sanction act:

Rishi is in a lot of trouble if Susan Hall is also backing Sadiq Khan. Fair play to her.

Took her long enough though.

All the other Tory Assembly members came out very quickly denouncing Lee Anderthal’s comments but I guess she was waiting to see how the wind was blowing before backing Khan.

But that doesn't make it a huge problem per se. Otherwise, what are we going to do about lightning strikes.
https://casinoalpha.com/blog/chances-of-getting-stabbed-in-london/
12,000 stabbings last year. Maybe 1 or 2 lightning strikes in London. Not in the same ballpark, not even the same sport.
How many of those people stabbed were not involved in gangs, postcode turf wars, drugs etc? For most Londoners just getting on with their lives and not fussed that someone from an estate in SW9 has ventured into SE5, knife crime is just something that happens to other people. It would be much better if it didn't happen at all, and some completely innocent people are caught up in it, but most of us aren't walking around in fear.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't try and deal with it, and I don't think Khan has had much success at all in tackling it.

I think one will be surprised how well he will do considering the election will be fought solely on the topic of Palestine.

That would be a bizarre and terrible strategy to campaign on.

Ahh mate, your desperation is palpable.

Piers is a loon. Not just that, he’s the loons loon. He’s so far off the reservation that smoke signals will no longer reach him.

And in that most Londoners would not have heard of him and it’s a good way for him to lose his deposit.

He has zero chance.

If you think he will split the left vote then you’d also be wrong. Had the Tories fielded a credible candidate then maybe, just maybe they’d be in with the shot but they haven’t so they won’t.
