just ignore the troll, in 4 years time he can vote again for the next chap,

next mayor will be another labour candidate and khan will be in the lords.

think how many more LTNs, 20mph limits, ulez, Cc charge. bike lanes, parking fees etc etc we can get in another 4 years .

maybe oxford street will finally get pedestrianised

Just to give you some idea.

Mayor of London is third most heavily guarded person in UK - how far have we really come?

And that's three years old.

Do you think the situation will have improved since then?
Considering some on here have confessed to "hate" him and go to marches where there is often swastikas on display is that really that surprising?

That Facebook group Susan Hall joined around ULEZ had people openly calling for his assassination. Why don't you condemn that? Maybe there wouldn't be a need to spend our money on these protection measures if the threat wasn't there.

Keep in mind that this is the same Boris Johnson who demanded a private jet to do his job as foreign secretary... So Khan needing an armoured car is not even on the same level of entitlement (given the threats against him, it can be argued it's not even entitlement at all).

OK, still doesn't explain why the Met let him walk around on streets but think he needs a bullet proof Range Rover
Depends who you think know more about close protection I guess.

The Met or you.

What do you do for a living?
Oliver was a close protection officer, but threw himself in front of a speeding bullet meant for Liz Truss which hit him in the head destroying his brain. He's now just a shell of his former self, spending his days posting on PH.
Now I have been exposed, scary how people know me so well. I guess being fellow PH posters we are all alike smile

Hard to argue with much of that - particularly the fact that they chose a crazy candidate when Paul Scully would have been much better and the focus on ULEZ which many people don’t care about. Anyway, well done Sadiq Kahn for exploiting the failings on the other side and increasing his vote share. Been a tremendous week for Labour!
