Got my electric Hormann garage door caught on something and afterwards it'd close but then spring back to half open.

Thought I'd try resetting it by using the "manual release" to see if that'd help but now it doesn't seem to work at all.

Specifically it looks like there's a central track with a belt/chain thing in it that the door carrier locks into.

The manual release just disconnects the door carrier from the track so you can open/close it.

But even pressing the button to un-manual release it, it's not locking back in properly - you can hear it catching slightly on the belt/chain but not enough to actually open it.

Any ideas?

For anyone who has this problem in future...

There's a plastic block on the belt, which is what the shoe that connects to the door actually attaches to.
I thought it locked anywhere on the belt, but it has to go on the plastic block.
The block was stuck on the other side of the belt so that I couldn't see it - I put the door in learning mode to run it around until it was around the right side, thenn could actually connect the door.

Then could relearn as normal.
