Still not over...it's football. Anything can happen.

But I do think it is.

I'd be very embarrassed if I was a Spurs fan or associated with the club currently. I think Ange's comments suggest he is too. Maybe you need to be an adult to feel that? I also think he isn't happy with what he saw from the players...maybe the threat of fan backlash got to them.... At the end of every season their manager comments on what a st show the club is.....it's a trend.

Whatever happens at the weekend it has been a great season and we will have pushed City to the last game...something that's not been done in the Prem for a long time. The future is exciting with this young squad and manager!

West Ham are a stubborn lot and unlike the spuds they know how to win something smile
City fan here and I agree the assumption that we will win just by turning up is very disrespectful (and good motivation for West Ham). City fans aren’t taking this for granted given our history.

Personally I think Arsenal have been the best team this season so no complaints from me if you win it, although obviously I hope you don’t!

I am intrigued what the lurking Spurs fans took from Ange’s comments in the press conference… thought it was very pointed towards the crowd and how they have got late goals due to the fan support behind them, and that wasn’t there yesterday.

A video of Conte and Maureen speaking about totnum as a club is doing the rounds again which allude to that.

New homekit released:
https://www.arsenal.com/news/arsenal-launch-new-20...

Looks like microfibre you'd use to wash the car with, and I guess a canon is cheaper to add than an actual badge, it's a meh from me.

Retro kits is where it’s at.

All these small, slight changes and then you have different variations (fan / player models) etc… I’m proudly rocking my 1930’s replica.

Retro kits do look nice. I chuckle at City fans in retro kits though when they're trying to look like they supported them before 2008

Ange is an employee of the football club; he's not a fan. Anymore than Levy is a fan. The 2 coexist in completely different world's. The fans pay their money and by & large, have to put up with whatever the manager serves up. For most managers, each job is just a temporary one until the next career opportunity comes along. So they see football from inside, looking out. Fans are for life.

I think it's a brave manager who calls out the fans, especially one who has just lost 5 out of 6 games! I'm a great believer that if you pay your money, you get to express yourself however you want (within reason). Footballers (and Managers) who get the hump because they get booed whilst earning 6 figures a week.... cry

Ange clearly has a strong drive to win (although happy to make 9 changes against Fulham in the Cup and expects fans to just suck it up....) and is no doubt frustrated by recent results and that's what is coming out in interviews. I have no doubt whatsoever, had he been managing Celtic and a home defeat would deny Rangers the title, he'd experience similar from fans.

Tuesday was an extraordinary scenario, which delivered some extraordinary scenes. Had the planets not all aligned and say, CL qualification was in Spurs' hands (rather than hoping Villa to drop points) then things would have no doubt been different. But it wasn't, and that's on the Manager and players' performances over the previous 36 games, not the fans.

Point of order Teknopug. I'm no Levy apologist but the one thing that can't be used as a stick to beat him with is that he's not a fan. He's said many times how he grew up going to WHL. He went to his first match in the 60's against QPR when he was 7 or 8.

rofl

As a fan of Spurs, if you were in the position to own/run the club for the last 25 years, would you prioritise winning football games or enriching yourself? If it's the former, you've only won 1 trophy in all that time, so you are clearly terrible at your job and if you were a fan and wanted to win, you'd let someone else more capable do it. But you also pay yourself the highest CEO salary in world football, even though you are terrible at your job, but that's OK, it's not about the money because you're a "fan". Just like Alan Sugar was a "fan" yes

I never said he was good at his job or that he hasn't enriched himself, it's a business and he's a business owner too.

Whatever else he may or may not be he is a fan of Spurs he's just not running the club to your liking, nothing more and nothing less.

I totally understand why so many Spurs fans wanted them to lose that, it's not like it's in their own hands is it? I'd be exactly the same if it was Cov in with a chance of winning the league.

Talking about mentality or some other nonsense is ridiculous.

Arsenal have done bloody well this season, it just shows the levels you need to beat Peps Man City, very high.

Visiting West Ham fan here. You can get 22:1 on us beating Citee. As much as I’d love that to happen and I’d certainly prefer you guys to be champions I’m far from confident.

Sorry guys.

Apart from the season before last? I'm glad you pushed them all the way this season. Shame that it's likely you won't make it across the finish line in first. I can safely say for your mental sake that I hope City blow West Ham away. There's nothing worse than the opposition going 2 up until the 76th minute and City then scoring 3 in 5 minutes to kill the hope when you start thinking it might actually happen!
