It’s apparently in the F2 regulations that a driver can’t compete in more than one series at the same event.

F2 are in Melbourne in a fortnight, if Sainz is still unfit and Bearman in the Ferrari, I’m sure there will be a replacement for him in F2.

Ah bless - my heart sank when I saw the red flag before realising it was for the craziest of reasons and no accidents involved! I hope the team has a word with her though as she was way too fast once the red flags were out - red flag is meant to be VERY slow. Well done to her though - a dominant weekend.

Yep, we all know there’s a responsibility on the driver to know where and at what point they are in the race. king from the stewards for that, they should have told her the race was over.I hope there’s enough fuel in the car for a scrutineering sample, a couple of safety cars should make it okay.
But a team like Prema with all their experience you’d think they’d have standard race end lap procedure's in terms of driver comms, cool down etc. Not good that they didn’t confirm to her.
Expect they’ll discuss that after this. Be rubbish if Doriane loses out on a win due to this.
