RE: New Ferrari 12Cilindri is 812 Superfast successor
Discussion
I love the retromod Daytona front end and overall styling, that new suspension will be very trick no doubt when the reviewers get their hands on it, no need for anymore power than it's got so I'm glad they didn't shove a hybrid drive in it, shows you what their customers really want, fully fuelled with a driver it'll be around 1750kg I would guess.
Not keen on the black spats on the rear arches, I'd want those body coloured and no doubt you can for lots of extra $$$.
Got one coming, put in the deposit before the reveal and quite relieved I actually really love the design of this thing. It's the perfect modern Ferrari, great proportions and lovely details. All opinion, of course - I know a couple of friends that have deposits that have pulled theirs for not liking it - but hey, good art is polarising I guess! I do not like the interior very much, but that is just the standard with Ferrari these days so I'll live. Declined an early car because they're pre-spec'd and I'd like to see a few different colors and shades in the flesh before locking my configuration in.

I think it looks great, huge improvement on the 812. The 812 always looked like a spider about to bite with those stretched-back headlights. We will get used to the back end at least it's something different.
I know the Aston will likely be 100k cheaper but the lure of an NA V12 over turbos will likely bridge that gap.
If you compare it to the Pagani Utopia which does have turbos the '12C' (Stupid name) it looks almost good value.
Not so sure the Aston will be 100k cheaper, I'm hearing 25-50k cheaper base. I know the Aston will likely be 100k cheaper but the lure of an NA V12 over turbos will likely bridge that gap.

As an 812 owner and name on the list for this, I’ve got to say I’m very disappointed. I think the design is a dogs dinner and doesn’t gel. That’s subjective though.
Doesn’t sound as good as previous due to tighter emissions. Was hinted that it was going to be smaller and more nimble. It’s actually quite a bit heavier than the 812 as well as longer and wider. Slightly higher bhp, but lower torque means it needs the 8 speed box to just match the 812’s performance. No progress here, just ‘milking’ it for a bit longer. Oh and the price is up £100k on the 812.
