When I watched the Netflix show "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" I had not played the game. Playing the game I loved the back-references to the show in the game. Now that I've played (a lot of) the game, I am watching the show a 2nd time and am finding all sorts of stuff I did not see before. Like the glitch animation is the same as in the game, and David's apartment is the same as V's (which is hardly surprising as I bet the Megabuilding apartments are all identical). I'm sure more stuff will come out as I continue to watch the show.

edit: Wow. I had forgotten how bleak and downbeat the first episode is.

edit2: One thing I do remember is how Lucy starts off as a strong independent woman totally in control of her life, and then ends up as David's simp. I really hated that. And seeing her as that initial person in Ep2 really reminded me.

Edgerunners was a brilliant show, I still haven't finished it yet but when I started it I was playing the game at the some time and you're right, the links between the two are very good. I loved the way the fact they added loads of stuff to the game after it came out to reference the show.

I realised that my 2nd edit could be considered a spoiler. Could you edit your quoting of my post to reflect my new edit that puts spoiler tags in please? Cheers!

I've also asked the mods to do this, in case you don't see this reply for a while

edit: You beat them to it! biggrin
