Comfort access is keyless entry. Comfort Entry is for pillarless doors where you press unlock twice and the window rolls half way down making it easier to get in.

Just to update this, tried a replacement main drivers side switch but no joy. Still going up and down in 2 inch at a time. Next going to try disconnecting the battery for a few hours to see if anything resets. Before I do, is there any radio codes on these that have to be entered after battery disconnect ?

Disconnecting will do absolutely nothing, even if you did it for a week.

You’re quite right, it didn’t, just thought I’d give it a try as I’ve run out of ideas. Funny thing is I’ve now found out that the boot doesn’t open either, must be connected to the windows not functioning correctly I assume.
Other than these things, it fires up and runs great, and doors lock ok, just have to get the windows to be just off fully up to close doors without catching the glass.

The boot won’t work with the battery disconnected, or are you saying it doesn’t work now you’ve reconnected it?

Doesn’t work with battery connected. Dont know if this is in some way associated with the other issues with the windows, just seems coincidental. Never had any issues with it prior to the window problem.

I'm not sure where the BCM is on the newer minis, but I'd be checking for signs of water ingress.
