I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next person but I've read a few stories on this and I think it's more of a sad indictment of the US health care system.

Pneumonia + infection and rumour has it, they didn't check for the infection. Sad state of affairs when your employer controls your health care.

Yep, I agree: there's no real benefit in removing any whistle-blowers now, the whistle has already been blown, "damage" already done. If anything, it makes it harder for Boeing to refute their evidence, if that's what they intended to do.

I'm not sure how much more damaging any additional evidence could be? But I agree there's a possibility, albeit fairly remote.

Stop.

It is totally silly and irrelevant to report every single incident that relates to a Boeing aircraft. Virtually, none of these will be anything to do with Boeing's current issues over quality control during manufacture.
