Has anyone found series 3 in the U.K.?
I have seen season 3. I couldn’t find it on any streaming sites but managed to download it through “other means”.I quite enjoy the show and the hosts are likeable. There is obviously some TV fluffing in there but far, far less than WD! Given a choice I’d much sooner watch this than WD.

Also watching on Amazon.
The format is a bit iffy (fix within 5 days, put on ebay immediately), but I like the 2 guys and it is watchable. I also like the fact that they aren't doing fancy stuff with equipment that costs thousands, and do the bare minimum on stuff that is not going to be making a profit.
I did find crushing the Alfa bizarre - why not break it?
The MGB rattle can finish looked amazing to me? legit?

I don't understand the 5 days only and putting up for sale straightaway, why wait until all repairs are done, valet and then sell it.Really enjoyed the Herald in series 3, 2 owners from new, low miles and almost rot free, cracking starter classic for someone.

Biggest flaw in the series for me, taking pictures pre-work and listing on eBay immediately is nonsense. The format is a bit iffy (fix within 5 days, put on ebay immediately), but I like the 2 guys and it is watchable.
It is watchable nonsense though.

The stand out episode for me was the Rover Sterling one. It was not a Sterling, the Sterling had the 24 valve Honda 2.5 or 2.7 , it was a bog standard 820 with a sterling badge stuck on the boot. Wrong engine wrong interior yet some tool bought it
Sorry to kick an old thread but I am watching this series and you are mistaken.Sterling was the top spec 800 and on XX (pre grille) started with a Honda 2500 V6 which was quickly changed to the 2700 V6 with VIS system to address lack of torque, which it did as the 2700s were rapid in their day, hence Police using them lots.
Towards the end of 800 with grille (R17) production they did another facelift in 1996. The 2700 Honda unit was retired and replaced with the awful Rover KV6 which was not developed properly at this point and the liners moved so head gaskets blew on most of them and the engines were changed out under warranty. The changed engines probably expired also not long out of warranty.
Anyway, they also introduced a 820 Sterling option which used the T series engine.
A final facelift 820 Sterling 800 is the car in the episode so it was a real Rover Sterling.
Quite an enjoyable program, with two very knowledgeable and likeable presenters, but like many television shows of this ilk, it will have a limited audience.
The problem, this audience is fairy clued up, once they start talking about making a profit, the audience smells ….
Of course, some have got away with this; others have differentiated themselves by other means.
But as a long term proposition, it sadly never had legs.

Anyway I digress, still enjoyed the 3 seasons. decent lunchtime viewing when WFH, just drop the false nonsense with these type of programs.
