we already know that Matt buys and plans builds well in advance of them appearing on the channel, I can't see how putting parts from a flood car on the mansory Wraith would have gone down well. Given the known tie up with Tavarish, Sam and Matt it wouldn't be difficult to conceive this story line (and I don't mean that in a disparaging way at all) and play it out through the channels.

While a lot of what is done on the channels is real that doesn't mean it plays out as real life, this is planned, scripted and worked out well in advance no different to wheeler dealers, American Chopper etc.

Exactly. Some of the fault picking is unreal, it's entertainment, not a bloody documentary, it's free, and nobody is forcing you to watch.

Plot twist… As soon as Mat gets 10 million views from his videos of dismantling the car, he stops and doesn’t even rebuild the car and pockets the money.

People are behaving as if it was a mainstream show on TV that they’re paying for. Very odd.

I think he is one of the most honest about the income stream, and what he has to do to achieve it.

I watched the trip to Nurburgring video last night. Boy, that boy can drive, but that aside, it showed him editing a video at two in the morning, so that it could be on YT that day. Everyone else was sound asleep. By 10am, he was driving to Spa to look at a crashed GT3.

He probably needs a certain number of views per day to break-even and do what he does. A week-old video is probably starting to tail-off, so he needs to be hitting the streets with something fresh every week, just to survive.

To bring us the content, with all the real detail of someone working on Lamborghinis and Rolls Royces, there will be a bit of planning/contrivance in the background, I really dont care, am there for the content.

I do wonder if some of you watch some internet porn and need a full backstory, what is the plumbers name ? is he freelance or does he work for a company ? what job is he doing on the washing machine ? what make is the washer and what is the fault code ?

The plumber is showing an income below the VAT threshold on Companies House. If he’s receiving benefit in kind this should be declared.

Haha i wish we were this organised! So Freddy was always coming over to the UK for the petrolheadinism show as Ciro had booked him. He was staying at my place and was planning on buying an R34 Skyline from everyman to rebuild. But they managed to do him over litterally the day before he left the US to come here. After the show we were thinking of ideas that he could do for his channel or whether he would just help me with my builds.

Im also mid way through moving house so everything is crazy atm. So then freddie come up with the idea to rebuild suuue. Which we thought was a good idea providing he could get parts. He spent a few days searching and somehow managed to pull it off so we went along with that idea. I just now a 3 rolls royce's in pieces at my unit haha not a problem i ever thought id have haha

The Three Rolls in one workshop is a bit of a mad twist I must say. The whole thing is very entertaining and all I can say is keep it up.

I'm basically rebuilding a 67 Chevy Camaro from scratch from a pile of parts so I know how much time one car can soak up so your output is insane and over multiple cars. Hats off to you mate !

If there's a 3rd Rolls in, then call it Rita. Then the mansory can be known as Bob.

Anyone older 40/50 will know the film reference and that Bob "benefitted" from "screwing" Rita and Sue biggrin

Success like yours is no accident, and I am sure you are far more organised than you might want it to outwardly appear - again this is not a criticism, I've been watching since the BMW bumper repair days biggrin

I am now just waiting for the right Zonda/Bugatti/Koenigsegg to become available to you!

Mat, maybe you need a donor car to get the flooded one back up and running as well smile Could end up with every wraith having the doors off another one!

Flooded car is not worth repairing, blown engine plus it will be a nightmare to sort the electronics following water ingress.

I also suspect it is a Cat B or S.
