It’s low 18c indoors for me. Burner will get lit this evening.

17.1 degrees indoors here, just outside Edinburgh.

Apologies to those down south. Don't worry, you'll get your own back in August!

Good lord. Even by your own high standards that is magnificent.

Christ.... we haven't had a day this year without it firing up and it's set at 17.5c

I turned mine to manual and just click it on when I feel cold. Has a few days without it but am hovering over the button. Plus it's raining, again.

It's ok down south if you go far enough!

Second glorious day in a row here in Aberdeenshire, no idea of the temperature but near unbroken warm sunshine all day and almost no wind at all.

Can confirm - it was damn close, but no firing up today!

Our outside thermometer hit 20degs. I’d like to know if that was officially true, but that’s two days of summer the NE has had! Stunning driving over Cairn O Mount tonight in the evening sun.

It was lovely and warm in west Cumbria today, I was walking round in shorts and t-shirt after driving to the shops with the windows down. It's still 11 degrees outside.

@GetCarter this popped up on a guardian article, and I thought “I recognise the shape of that mountain”, is this near you?

I wouldn’t mind one of these…

I mean, it’s a wonderfully finished house in an incredible location, but ‘offers over £425k’ for that makes me feel a lot better about what I’ve just paid for my Hampshire bungalow hehe

Been a rare week for sure (I'm about 15m south of GC).
Although a balmy 1.5° Monday night it's been over 20 and bright sunshine every day since smile

At the very real risk of being ridiculed, is that chart basically saying it’s going to be hotter (lower in some places) than the historical average ?

(Edit - just read the actual headline above the chart…. So yes smile

Right. Time to go and get my factor 50 sun cream out!

Yep... just down the road. Before the pandemic this would have been offers over £250k. Since then it's gone completely mad up here. Place next to me just sold for £425k and it was bought 7 years ago for £180k

Finally a sunny day, bliss.

Don't want to jinx it but I've been running the aircon for a few hours to test it for the summer and cleaned the BBQ.
