As a Villa fan, I am really conflicted. On the one hand, if you win, we are only 5 points behind Scousers. On the other hand, if you lose and we beat Brighton, we are guaranteed 4th.

Not looking forward to this one, all we can hope for is VAR gets behind us for a change and makes up for our lack of awarded penalties this season.

Love the fact we're arguing about who's the most ste at the moment.

Could be an entertaining game as neither side appear to be able to defend or put the ball in the net with any consistency at the minute. Saying that, I've probably cursed it now and it'll be a boring 0-0 snorefest..

Amazing we put Son out wide, and put some players on (Lo Celso and Madders) who look to get the ball forward, teamed with some energy from Skipp that dragged everyone up a bit and we looked a different team.

And playing with an actual striker, even if that is Richie. Play balls down the channels with Son and BJ in the team and you’ll create chances.

Royal though, fk me, he’s had an absolute western today and should be no where near this squad.
